The Warsaw Rising opened my eyes to Polish history
“All countries come to an end at some point, even though most Europeans don’t think about it. Take Poland: it had any number of states, the Congress kingdom exists, and then it stops, the Second Republic exists, and then it stops, than you get the GG, then the People’s Republic, which also came to an end. In modern Britain we haven’t had so many changes, but Brexit could bring them,” says Norman Davies in an interview about Polish history, his autobiography and Brexit.
